Global crypto investment funds posted a record-breaking $4.4 billion in weekly inflows, signaling renewed investor confidence and accelerating institutional adoption.
Ethereum ETPs Outperform With $6.2B Year-to-Date Inflows
Ethereum ETPs have now surpassed their total 2024 inflows, reaching $6.2 billion in 2025 alone. The standout performance was driven by $2.12 billion in inflows last week, more than double the previous weekly record. These inflows came as ETH surged above $3,500, rebounding strongly from April’s lows under $1,500.
The past 13 consecutive weeks of ETH inflows now account for 23% of all Ethereum ETP assets under management. This underscores Ethereum’s growing dominance in institutional portfolios, largely fueled by optimism around spot ETFs and broader usage of ETH in tokenization and staking protocols.

Bitcoin ETPs Remain Resilient Amid New Highs
Bitcoin exchange-traded products recorded $2.2 billion in inflows during the same week, representing 50% of total crypto ETP inflows. These gains came as BTC briefly surged past $122,000, before settling near $120,000. Despite the high volatility, investor appetite for Bitcoin remains strong, reversing the early July slowdown.
Altcoins See Renewed Interest From Institutions
Alongside ETH and BTC, several altcoins experienced significant inflows:
- Solana (SOL): $39 million
- XRP: $36 million
- Sui (SUI): $9.3 million
This renewed attention signals that institutional investors are beginning to diversify beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Minor Outflows From Key U.S. Issuers
Despite the overall positive momentum, some U.S.-based ETF issuers saw minor outflows:
- ARK Invest: $120 million
- Fidelity: $49 million
- ProShares: $25 million
ARK’s Next Generation Internet ETF notably offloaded $8.7 million worth of its Bitcoin holdings, contributing to the firm’s net outflows.
Total assets under management (AUM) in crypto ETPs have crossed $220 billion for the first time ever, marking a new high-water mark for the industry. Year-to-date inflows have now hit $27 billion, reinforcing a strong institutional comeback in 2025.
