Altcoin ETF flows diverge with Ethereum stabilizing and XRP drawing consistent demand
U.S.-listed altcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are showing early signs of divergence, with Ether ETFs reversing recent losses while XRP-linked products continue to attract steady inflows. The shift highlights changing investor behavior as capital becomes more selective across crypto investment vehicles.
Spot Ether ETFs recorded $84.6 million in net inflows on Monday, snapping a seven-day outflow streak and marking one of the strongest single-day reversals this month. The move followed more than $700 million in outflows last week, suggesting a pause in sustained selling pressure. As a resul, cumulative net inflows climbed to approximately $12.5 billion, reinforcing Ethereum’s position as a core institutional asset despite recent volatility.
At the same time, XRP ETFs posted $43.9 million in daily net inflows, their strongest showing in several weeks. Since launch, XRP products have not recorded a single net outflow day, pushing total cumulative inflows beyond $1.1 billion. While overall trading volumes remain smaller than Ether ETFs, the consistency suggests long-term positioning rather than short-term trading activity.

Beyond Ether and XRP, ETF flows remain uneven. Solana ETFs continue to attract gradual inflows, lifting cumulative totals to around $750 million, while Chainlink products added modest but steady capital, reaching approximately $58 million in net inflows. In contrast, Dogecoin ETFs remain subdued, with minimal inflows and declining trading activity.
Despite pockets of strength in Ether and XRP ETFs, global crypto ETF markets recently saw nearly $1 billion in net outflows, largely driven by Bitcoin and Ether products. The data underscores a market environment where capital is becoming increasingly selective, favoring assets with sustained demand and clearer use cases.
