Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) has entered into a strategic partnership with Crypto.com to make the Cronos (CRO) token a central part of its ecosystem. The deal will introduce CRO as a utility token for Truth Social, supporting rewards, subscriptions, and a new digital wallet system.

Key Highlights of the Deal

  • Trump Media will purchase $105 million in CRO, representing approximately 2% of its total supply.
  • Crypto.com will acquire $50 million in DJT stock, strengthening the partnership.
  • A new entity, Trump Media Group CRO Strategy Inc., will merge with Yorkville Acquisition Corp. and trade under the ticker MCGA – short for “Make CRO Great Again.”
  • This vehicle aims to become the largest CRO holder globally, with 6.3 billion tokens valued at $1 billion at the time of the announcement.

Massive Treasury & Market Impact

The collaboration is backed by an initial $200 million in cash, along with a $5 billion credit line, to expand CRO holdings. This move positions Trump Media Group CRO Strategy as a significant player in the digital asset treasury market.

Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek called the partnership a “historic day for CRO,” highlighting the flywheel effect—using token appreciation to fund further CRO acquisitions.

Truth Social’s CRO Integration

Under this deal, Truth Social will roll out a CRO-powered rewards system, enabling users to:

  • Convert platform gems into CRO tokens
  • Pay for subscriptions using CRO
  • Access discounted services through CRO payments

Trump Media will also stake its CRO holdings on Crypto.com to generate additional yield, adding another revenue stream.

Following the announcement, CRO’s price surged 25%, climbing from $0.16 to $0.20, reflecting strong market confidence in the partnership.
